Gemma’s Cakes began baking and decorating cupcakes with my two children Callum age 8 and Jessica age 6.
In September 2011 Jessica started full time school, I decided to go back to college and study professional bakery and cake decoration.
This is when I found my passion for cake design and cake decoration.
After finishing college in 2012, I decided to set up my own Cake business from home.
Each cake is lovingly baked and hand decorated to the customers’ requirements, ensuring each one is totally unique. As they are only baked to order, they are fresh and tasty and you may find yourself finding an excuse to order another!
I am meticulous in my work, which ensures that hygiene is a huge priority and the customer's satisfaction is paramount. The cake studio has a 5 star food hygiene rating from Liverpool council and I have completed a Level 2 Hygiene Certificate.
